The Auckland Chapter

Beta Alpha Psi is an international honorary organisation for Accounting, Finance, Information Systems and Business Analytics students and professionals.

We are dedicated to helping our members develop skills that can not be gained inside of a classroom. From personal branding to social awareness - our professional, service and social events provide critical development students need to maximize the success of their careers in business.

We also strive to place members in environments where they can further develop their networks by engaging with a multitude of industry professionals. Many of our students go onto gain internships and graduate positions with these organisations.

The Beta Alpha Psi alumni network is global and we are proud that the Auckland chapter is apart of this great cohort. We look forward to seeing you around at our events!

Our members learn about the application process of jobs, how hiring works and what recruiters look for in an applications in this workshop.

Fair Food Food Rescue 2023

We had the pleasure of volunteering at Fair Food New Zealand; through this volunteering, we hand-sorted 1,143 kilograms of fresh produce which equates to feeding our community with 3,266 meals.

A Day in the Life

BAP Auckland and our partners, PwC, EY, Deloitte and KPMG hold a series of events where we get a chance to hear from a panel of employees and learn about their daily life as a part of the Big Four

BAP Oceania Regional Mid-Year Conference 2023

Over the mid-semester break, six of our executives had the honour of attending the BAP Oceania Regional Conference in Melbourne. We had a fantastic time meeting all the other Oceania chapters and also participated in the Beta Alpha Psi 2023 Best Practices Competition, sponsored by Deloitte, with two of our three teams coming away with placings!

Tree Planting Service Event

We had a great time volunteering at the Kaipatiki Project this year helping to restore native forests in the Eskdale Reserve. Learning about the environment around us was a great educational experience for our members.

EY Pink Ribbon Breakfast

This event celebrates our members who fundraised for the Breast Cancer Foundation. This year's Pink Ribbon Breakfast topic was the future of work, where panellists from the big four firms shared their insights on how emerging technologies will affect the workforce.

Get Social with CA ANZ

This year we were fortunate to be invited to a Q&A and networking session hosted by Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand at their Auckland venue. It was an excellent opportunity for Beta Alpha Psi members to gain valuable insights from a fantastic CA panel on how CA has helped their career progression and helped them to achieve their current level of success.

Mock Interviews

Each year we have the honour of partnering with PwC, Deloitte, EY, KPMG, and BDO to host our highly beneficial mock interviews. Our members have the opportunity to be interviewed by industry experts, allowing them to better prepare for job interviews.
